Our hemp sativa extract has been tested by Biogest and Bio Basic Europe, two of the most advanced analytical laboratories in Italy, ISO 9001 certified and ISO 17025 accredited. Biogest was included in the register of Centers of Excellence from the Ministry of Education, University and Research, in recognition of excellence in the field of science. Our lab is both ISO 9001, GMP and HACCP certified.
In in-vitro tests our hemp sativa extract (50% CBD) has shown antioxidant, soothing and regenerative properties, without causing skin irritation.
Antioxidant
In in-vitro tests our CBD extract reduced the formation of free-radicals in cell cultures of human keratinocytes subjected to oxidative stress, certifying its antioxidant action.
Soothing
In in-vitro tests our extract’s soothing properties are demonstrated by its ability to prevent the formation of cytokines in cell cultures of human keratinocytes.
Regenerating
After 24 and 48 hours from the application of our extract, in-vitro results demonstrated a significant stimulation of protein, indicative of regenerative effects on fibroblasts.
Not irritating
Based on the patch test conducted pursuant to EC regulation no. 1223/2009, our extract has been shown to have no irritating effect on the skin.
